How we verify
Every item we source passes through a two-step authentication process before it is listed for sale.
Digital verification Many of our pieces carry a unique QR code embedded in the garment or its label. This code can be scanned directly via certilogo.com, confirming the product's authenticity and its origin from the official brand. The result is instant and tamper-proof.
Manual inspection For pieces without a digital code, our team conducts a thorough physical inspection. We examine the quality and composition of materials, the precision of stitching and finishing, the placement and printing of labels, hardware details such as buttons, rivets and zippers, and the subtle brand-specific signatures that distinguish a genuine piece from anything less. Every brand we carry has its own set of markers — and we know them well.
What we check per brand
Jacob Cohën — horsehair patch, numbered leather label, silver-plated hardware, hand-stitched details and authentic fragrance.
Loro Piana — fabric composition label, cashmere quality, stitching density and internal brand tags.
Brunello Cucinelli — label placement, fabric hand-feel, interior finishing and hardware quality.
Herno — zip quality, lining construction, label accuracy and down fill certification where applicable.
Burberry — check pattern alignment, hardware markings, label typography and interior stitching.
Canada Goose — hologram disc, fill power labelling, stitching consistency and hardware markings.
All other brands in our collection undergo the same level of scrutiny — adapted to the specific authentication markers of that house.
Our guarantee
If an item passes our authentication process, it is listed. If it does not, it is not — regardless of where it was sourced or what was paid for it. We have turned away pieces that could not be verified beyond reasonable doubt.
Every listed item comes with a condition rating and a full description of any signs of wear. We photograph every piece before shipment. What you see is what you receive.

Shipping & Returns — Nord du Monde
Shipping
We aim to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible. Every piece is inspected and carefully packaged before it leaves us.
Netherlands Orders placed and paid before 16:00 on business days are dispatched within 24 hours. We ship via PostNL with full track & trace. You will receive a shipping confirmation by email once your order has been dispatched. Shipping costs €6,95. Free on all orders from €250.
European Union We deliver to all countries within the European Union. Shipping costs outside the Netherlands are calculated at checkout and vary by destination. Average delivery time is 2 to 7 business days depending on country.
Tracking Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with your track & trace link. Use this to follow your delivery in real time. Please check your spam folder if you have not received a confirmation within 24 hours.
Delays caused by carriers are outside our control. In the event of loss or damage during transit, we will contact the carrier to investigate and resolve the situation.
Returns
We accept returns within 14 days of receipt. Every return request must be submitted via our contact page before sending the item back. Returns sent without prior approval will not be processed.
Conditions The item must be unworn, unwashed and undamaged, in exactly the same condition as delivered. All original labels, tags and seals must be intact. Items showing signs of wear, odour or damage will not be accepted.
Pre-owned pieces Pre-owned items may only be returned if they show no new signs of wear or damage and all labels remain attached. Every item is photographed before dispatch so we can verify its condition at the time of shipment.
Return shipping Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense, unless the return is due to an error or damage caused by Nord du Monde. Please pack the item securely and include your order number and full name.
Refund Once your return is received and approved, the purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days via the original payment method.
Exchanges
Because our inventory consists largely of unique or limited pieces, exchanges are not always possible. Please contact us via our contact page and we will do our best to find a solution.

Tailored fit. High rise. Straight through the thigh with a slight taper. Leg opening 18.8 cm. Button fly. The most versatile model — works across a wide range of body types. A blend between the Nick and Eduard in volume. Sizes W28–W38. True to size.
Carrot slim fit. High rise, full through the thigh, tapers sharply from knee to a cropped, narrow ankle. A more fashion-forward, contemporary silhouette. Best for those who want a modern, statement cut. Sizes W28–W36. True to size.
Regular fit. Mid rise. Straight leg from thigh to ankle. Leg opening 21.8 cm. Button fly. The most relaxed of the main models. Best for broader builds or those who prefer comfort and a classic silhouette. Sizes W28–W38. True to size.
Relaxed chino fit. Mid to high rise. Fuller through the seat and thigh. Straight leg. The most generous fit in the Jacob Cohën range. Available in chino fabrics as well as denim. Best for those who prefer ease of movement. Sizes W28–W38. True to size or size down one.
Slim straight fit. Mid rise. Sits between the Nick and Eduard in volume. Clean, tailored silhouette without being tight. Leg opening approx. 19 cm. Sizes W28–W36. True to size.
Predecessor to the current Nick. Very slim, low rise. Fits closer than the current Nick. If familiar with the current Nick, size up one on the J622. Sizes W28–W36.
Predecessor to the current Bard. Slightly higher rise than the current Bard with a marginally straighter leg. If familiar with the current Bard, true to size on the J688. Sizes W28–W38.
